Fourth grade students in the Easton Area School District learn Pennsylvania history as part of their curriculum. The Easton Cemetery, with its notable permanent residents (including a signer of the Declaration of Independence) is an incredible, hands on accompaniment. Annually, our docents provide fourth graders with a walking tour of the Easton cemetery. Prior to their visit, students enjoy a presentation from one of our docents. During the field trip to the Easton Cemetery, students explore the cemetery grounds, learning about its notable residents, interesting grave markers and other points of interest.
